Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport pick up by our tour guide and then transfer to Medan Town for city tour visiting Maimoon Palace, Great Mosque, Tjong Afie Mansion and visiting The Church of Mary Annai Velangkanni; the uniqueness of the church lies in the originality of its Indo – Mogul architecture (Tamil Nadu), ornaments & displays of color resembling a towering temple. Then drive to Bahorok, on the way stop at Rubber and Palm Oil plantation. Arrive at Bohorok check in hotel.

Overnight in Bukit Lawang

After breakfast, 08.00am you will start a jungle trekking to explore the national park. You will follow 6-7 hours jungle walk searching sumatran orangutan and other tropical flora and fauna. You have big chance to to see gibbons, thomas leaf monkey, longtail and pigtail macaque, squirrels, Great Argust and Hornbills. A wild orangutan might cross your away. a guide will explain you manything about the rainforest, will showing you a many different kind of plants and flowers. Jungle trek end by walking back to the bukit lawang hotel. End your trek with a refreshing and fun experience: take the "jungle taxi" (RAFTING) along the Bohorok River to go back to Bukit Lawang! Your guide will bring you back to your guesthouse. The rest of the day is free leisure.

Overnight in Bukit Lawang

After breakfast at the guesthouse, in good time then continue driving on the main road to Berastagi along the forested foothills of the Barisan Mountains where the turnoffs provide panoramic views over the cool and beautiful town of Berastagi through the Sibolangit Nature Reserve, which is perched on a steep slope overlooking the lowlands. On the way visit the Lumbini temple, a Vietnamese Buddhist temple in the Karo land area. After that continue driving to Berastagi. Upon arrival in Berastagi, continue driving to the Fruit Market selling fresh fruits, flowers, vegetables & other goodies. After that drive to Gundaling Hill for panoramic views of Mount Sinabung & Sibayak. Then depart for Lake Toba, the largest lake in Indonesia and the largest volcanic lake in the world. On the way, you will visit the spectacular Sipisopiso Waterfall and also the restored Royal Palace at Pematang Purba to visit the open floor plan Karo Batak House where once related families lived together under one towering thatched roof or rectangular roof interspersed with more modern roofs. Then continue the journey to visit the unique city of Parapat Lake Toba which is cool at night but warm during the day. Next, you will sail to Samosir Island and upon arrival, you will be escorted to the hotel for the night.

Overnight in Samosir

After breakfast at hotel full day excursion on Samosir Island to explore the beauty and cultural aspects of Batak visiting Ambarita village to see the stone chairs, tables and court yard of Siallagan’s clan. Continue to Tomok Village, to see the hundreds of years old Tomb of King Sidabutar and to see the Ancient Stone Tombstone of King Sidabutar. Then the tour continues towards Si Bea Bea Hill, seeing the beautiful natural scenery of Lake Toba with the hills surrounding it with the main attraction being the winding streets which are now a favorite photo spot. Then continue visiting Ulos Lumban Suhi-suhi Village, Hutaraja Village to see Ulos Craftsmen. Then the tour continues by visiting Holbung Hill which is around 200 years old and is one of the best spots to enjoy the enchanting natural scenery resulting from the combination of green hills and the exotic Lake Toba. Rest of the day return to the hotel or discover the Tuk-Tuk village by bicycle and enjoy a warm interaction with the local people during your ride.

Overnight in Samosir

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Today we cross to Parapat by Ferry. Then the journey continues to the Sibaganding Monkey Forest which is a protected animal breeding place such as monkeys and Siamang. Here participants can feed animals with four types including Siamang, long-tailed monkeys, macaques or Short-tailed Monkeys and Thomas monkeys. Then the journey continues to Bandara Kualanamu via Pematang Siantar. Upon arrival at Kualanamu Airport, the tour ends with unforgettable beautiful memories.
