Tour Itinerary
Welcome to Pontianak!
Upon your arrival at Supadio International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local guide. Breakfast is at your own expense before we begin today's city tour.
The tour starts with visits to the Hakka Tulou House, Radakng House, Malay House, and the Mujahidin Grand Mosque.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Kapuas River aboard a public river boat, where you can experience the daily life and beautiful scenery along Indonesia's longest river.
Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants.
After breakfast at the hotel, please don't eat too much, as we will take you to experience one of Pontianak's most iconic coffee shops, Kopi Asiang.
Established in 1958, Kopi Asiang has been serving coffee for more than 65 years. The café is famous for its unique tradition, where guests can watch the owner personally prepare coffee without wearing a shirt.
Afterward, continue the overland journey to Singkawang, approximately a four-hour drive.
Along the way, we will visit:
- Aloevera Center
- Equator Monument
- Kadariah Palace
- Jami Mosque
Upon arrival in Singkawang, visit Tri Dharma Bumi Raya Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in the city, followed by shopping for the famous Sauchong Mooncakes.
After dinner, enjoy an evening visit to Singkawang Bird Park and take a fun ride on the colorful Disco Odong-Odong around the vibrant Hong Kong Market before checking in at the hotel.
After breakfast, begin the day by visiting Pasar Turi, a popular traditional market famous for local specialties such as Hainanese chicken rice, traditional cakes, and various local delicacies.
Continue to Buy Fresh by Farm (Avocado Farm), where you can enjoy fresh fruits and juices while admiring the surrounding mountain scenery.
The journey continues to Batu Belimbing, a scenic attraction perfect for photography or trying the duck paddle boat rides.
Next, visit Sui Kheu Thai Pak Kung Temple (Kelor Temple), the largest Chinese temple in Singkawang.
No visit to Singkawang is complete without tasting its signature local delicacy, Choi Pan. Enjoy this traditional snack at the historic Tjia Clan House, one of Singkawang's Chinese cultural heritage sites established in 1901. Today, the building serves as a museum and is open to visitors.
Singkawang is also well known for its beautiful coastline facing the Natuna Sea. Therefore, we will visit Tanjung Bajau Beach, one of the city's most popular beaches, offering beautiful coastal scenery and many Instagram-worthy photo spots.
Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants.
After breakfast, depart for Pontianak.
On the way, visit Borneo Wood Gallery, where you can admire a wide variety of handcrafted ironwood products, including furniture, kitchenware, and home décor.
During the journey, there will be an optional stop at Coffee Aming (personal expense) or Pondok Pengkang Peniti, where you may sample Pengkang, a traditional West Kalimantan delicacy made of glutinous rice wrapped in banana leaves, grilled over charcoal, and served with spicy clam sambal (personal expense).
Upon arrival in Pontianak, continue the city tour by visiting Maitreya Buddha & Kwan Im Temple, the West Kalimantan Museum, PSP Souvenir Center, and Saint Joseph Cathedral.
Enjoy the legendary Angi Ice Cream, uniquely served in a fresh coconut shell (complimentary for our guests).
The tour continues with shopping at GAIA Mall or Ayani Mega Mall.
Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Supadio International Airport for your departure flight to your next destination.
Thank you for traveling with us. We wish you a pleasant journey and look forward to welcoming you again on your next adventure.
