Tour Itinerary
The Ijen Bromo tour will begin at 09:00 (Bali time); our team will collect you from your hotel in the Bali area. You will then head to Gilimanuk Port, a journey taking approximately 5 hours (depending on the location of your hotel). After that, you will cross over to Ketapang Port by ferry, which takes around 1 hour. Afterwards, we will head to a local restaurant for lunch (at your own expense) and continue on to the hotel. Enjoy the hotel facilities before the Ijen crater hike later that night.
*Note: Ubud, Sanur, Kuta, Legian, Denpasar To Gilimanuk Ferry Port (± 4-5 Hours), Pemuteran (± 30 Minutes) And Lovina To Gilimanuk Ferry Port (± 2 Hours)
The Ijen Crater Midnight Tour will begin at around midnight (00.00). We will head straight to the foot of Mount Ijen/Paltuding Post (approx. 1,800 m), a journey of around one hour from your hotel. Along the way, you will pass through villages, rice fields and forests with ancient trees. Upon arrival at Paltuding Post, you will enjoy a cup of coffee or tea whilst listening to a briefing about the climb from the team, accompanied by the cool, crisp mountain air. At 02:00, we will begin the climb. From here, the ascent will take approximately 1.5–2 hours depending on your physical fitness (3 km). The Ijen hiking trail has 6 checkpoints, with a stall and toilet available at almost every one. Upon arrival at the summit area (approx. 2,386 m), we will follow the path towards the crater rim to witness the blue fire phenomenon, starting from the crater rim (after a 3 km climb from Paltuding) and descending to the crater floor over a distance of around 800 metres across steep, rocky, and slippery terrain. The descent into the crater takes 30–45 minutes. Upon reaching the crater rim, enjoy the blue fire phenomenon, which exists in only two places in the world (Indonesia and Ethiopia); don’t forget to take as many photos as possible.
*If your physical condition prevents you from making it to the Blue Fire, you can head straight to the Sunrise Point area
Once we’ve had our fill, we’ll head back up the same path to the sunrise point; this journey takes around 30 minutes until 1 hours from the Blue Fire area. Upon arrival at the sunrise point, capture the moment with a photo here against the panoramic backdrop of Ijen Crater At around 07.00, we will head back to Paltuding Post, Return to the hotel to enjoy breakfast, take a shower, and rest for a while. Around 11 a.m., check out of the hotel, and we’ll head to our accommodation near Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, specifically in Pronojiwo, Lumajang. The journey takes about 6–7 hours; along the way, you’ll pass through rural areas, hills, and natural cliffs. Upon arrival at the accommodation, rest up before tomorrow morning’s trekking tour.
The Tumpak Sewu Tour will begin at 7 am after breakfast. We will first trek to the Tumpak Sewu viewpoint, where you can admire and capture the panoramic landscape of the Tumpak Sewu waterfall from above. After that, we will trek back along the river to reach Tumpak Sewu Waterfall; this takes about an hour’s trek. Along the way, you will descend the hill and follow the river, and you will also pass several photo spots such as Tetes Cave and Blue Lake. Upon arrival at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, capture your photos and enjoy the spectacular beauty of God’s creation. Once you’ve had your fill, we’ll return to the accommodation to freshen up and have lunch (at your own expense), after that, we will continue our journey to our accommodation in the Bromo area, specifically in Sukapura, Probolinggo. The journey takes around 3–4 hours, depending on traffic. Upon arrival at the accommodation, the air will turn cool, typical of the mountains; please take the time to rest well before the Mount Bromo sunrise tour tomorrow morning.
